I may know quite a bit about cars in general, and Jeeps, but this is the first time I've had this part of a Jeep apart. I've done thses on other vehicles, but they used regular bearings, and had manual hubs, a whole different animal. Its awlays good to double check.. ;)

Yup.... thats the animal... its been in that case for 5 years now and works perfect every time i need it. I hit it with a little silicon spray once a year to keep it in top shape.

one more thing to try.. put your foot on the gas and kick the idle up a touch. does it go away? might just be idling too low until it warms up. there is a min. rpm to put out enough amps to maintain the battery.

you can always let it warm up before you go.. better for the engine anyway.

if it still works, it is worth trying out. CB antennas are universal, just make sure you tune the antenna if you want to get any real range out of the antenna.

trillian is a multi-messsenger application. It allows you to log into yahoo, icq, msn, aim, IRC, and a few others all with one messenger app. If you use more than one service, this is definitely the program to install. I don't chat a whole bunch but have a few friends on each of the services...

i've been using Trilllian Pro for years and love it. Yahoo is my preominant messenger but i do have friends on all major networks. The thing I love about Trillian Pro is I can be logged into 2 Yahoo accounts at the same time.

then again.. if you can drive fast, you don't need the chains in the first place.
