Looking into swapping my stock CJ-7 axles out for a DANA 44 front and a DANA 60 rear..............i will resize the axles to stock wide track size. however i was wondering what all is involved in this swap and is it worth it i use my CJ as a 4wheelin machine so yes it sees all kinds of bad...

Nutha day Nutha Mod. i would run 15x8s..........there are some pretty cheap wheels out there that stand up to alot of abuse........plus you would get the full Footprint with wider wheels

i have a 1994 XJ with 130,000 miles on it and all that i have had to replace on it is the back brakes(drums), water pump, and the tires and suspension only cause i added a 3 inch suspension lift and 31x10.50s

as long as the engine runs and the frame is solid i would take a beater to customize prolly 9 out of 10 times. its just more fun and you really enjoy the Jeep when your done making it the way you want it to look CJs and XJs the two best Jeeps
