    There goes my wheel!

Aw shucks you guys- you are too kind. But you know, it was Mud, and my son Nate, always telling me to trust myself, don't over-react, just assess what's going on and respond to that, that helped me not go all to he$$ during that situation- truth be told...... it was kind of fun. When I hooked up...

    There goes my wheel!

I had to jump on here while Mud is at work because I know he would spend most of this story beating himself up for not tightening my lug nuts (he who is without sin.........). We were driving to work today- Mud in his Jeep, me in mine, yakking away on our radios, when I noticed my left front...

    To those that are married..

We really didn't go anywhere right after we got married- we still had friends and family here from out of state- but later that year we went on a cruise- of course it was great. Our wedding was awesome- we got married in Cataloochee National Park, and had the reception in the group camp sites-...

Bread beauty is in the eye (mouth/stomach) of the bread beholder and that's all I have to say about that.

    Everybody do me a favor...

Sounds to me like the Great Smoky Mountains (Western North Carolina, Eastern Tennessee or northern Georgia) is where you want to be. We just had 14" of snow- just on our little mountain. We are close to Tellico, lots of trails everywhere. We get snow (but it melts in between snowfalls) and rain...

    would you quit?

Ants, what kind of skills do you have? What's the unemployment rate where you live? How often does this company promote from within, and do you want the job they might promote you to? What made you take this job in the first place? What kind of bills do you have and how long can you live on...

    I'm not happy.

You're right TC- that stinks. But, on the bright side, what goes around comes around- one day there's going to be something he wants and it's going to slip right through his fingers through no fault of his own. I hope an even better and cheaper one comes along before spring!

An Apology to my Jeepz Friends

Sparky- Bless your heart for stepping up to the plate and saying the hard stuff. Once again, I am not sure what we are talking about (there's a surprize) but I admire you for speaking up. Here is my question: How did you get this thing to print asshole? I would have thought it would've said...

Thought i would share the news...

Congratulations!! Sparky is 100% right- bonus kids do count. Mud has three bonus sons (mine) and I have one bonus son (his)- I fret over his son as much as I do my own. A new life is always exciting- we 're very happy for you.

This has been a year of extreme losses for so many of us. You are right Utah, there is nothing that can take away your wifes pain, but just having you standing there beside her is of more value than you can imagine. And remember the stories. When Tim and Mike's (Mud and JBdayojeep) dad died, we...

You can't go wrong with a whoopie cushion and some beef jerky- sends the "Hey, I'm a fun loving carnivore" message that will warm you to his heart.

what do you want for that grill- I collect them. We have a 40's Willys grill mounted over our bed, a CJ grill I painted on the living room wall, a CJ grill for our house numbers at the end of the driveway and my son is making us a coffee table out of two CJ grills- I need a YJ.

That song is also in the credits at the end of Finding Forrester- it's a medley along with What a Wonderful World It Would Be- I think Louis Armstrong is singing the second song but I'm not sure. Great song.

" A perfect example of this is the UAW workers for GM who make $50/hour to stand there and push a button all day. That high-paying low-skill job is bankrupting GM (well that and the fact that their cars are junk)." I so agree with this, and, as I work at a nursing home, I take it personally...

RE: caster probs from 1" shackle lift? Mud and I were doing some pretty tame wheelin this weekend- took the nephew out for his first off-road experience. We were on a forest service road when a little bear cub came scrambling out of the woods right in front of the Jeep. Mud saw another one up...
