anybody use or have seen in action the rustys long arm set up?????? im looking at that setup as opposed to getting the adj. short arms. Iv heard and read that is the way to go.

Im going to be replacing all control arms with adj on bottom and fixed on top. Front wheel hubs and ball joints. Im going to have it for a long time I might as well have all new and tight parts to put another 250000 miles on her.

I got the front end figured out but my problem is something else. when I hit the gas you can feel the whole back of the jeep sway back and forth. like if you were hitting passing gear you feel the sway as if there was no track bar holding it straight. I think that might be the big problem...

ok. dont have that problem. at what mileage should you change the steering box? mine has some play in it and the guy that had it befor tightened it up to max so steering is hard. so you tend to overcompensate.

what is proper caster. how can I measure while doing it? is there a degree? I know lots of ?s.

will this couse problems in front or on both axles? could this be a big cause of steering problems lots of wander? should I get adj arms for both or are the lowers the only problem?

Iron rock off road is the maker of the lift kit. not many sell a 4.5 inch lift with aftermarket arms and they all say that you dont need them. 4.5 inch lift is max with stock arms.

after putting a lift on do you need to spin front axle to get proper pinion angle? a couple people said " you have to use the cam adjusters on control arms and level out the front axle" others say no. any idea????? 4.5 lift

well I just got in from allining front end. after playing with 4wd it seems to be working right. goes in after a few seconds but you have to go in reverse to get it out of 4wd. so to a new ? What would be making my front end to wonder. goes strait and all of a sudden it will wonder. any idea...
