O.k. O.k. I'm tired of replacing parts and it don't fix the problem, as for the problem, while driving the engine stalls out but, does not completely stall. It seems that it is running out of fuel. But, hard to believe after I put in a new fuel pump and the filter the problem continues to haunt my jeep. Pushing on the petal only makes it worse. Once I shut it off and restart it, it will run for a quarter mile and start doing the same thing.. If anyone can help me out as to what I can check before spending all kinds of money I would be very thankful. Great site keep it up!

what sensor tells the pump to work? that would be a start.

i don't know the answer but i know something is telling it to turn on and off

I tried the cat. Theory cut it off and when it did the same thing I welded it back on, all I can see on the scanner is an open loop somewhere.........and the o2 sensor only reads .04 mv to 0 Thanks

Tired of this junk held my foot right to the floor for 15 minutes and it won't blow up, popping just won't do it yet.......

Does anyone know if there is a distributor and a carburetor I can replace the electronic distributor and the throttle body with? Not ready for the v-8 just yet....

Check the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel injection rail that returns the fuel to the gas take in case of over pressure. This can be leaking and causing a decrease in pressure at the injectors.

This thing has no rail it's throttle body and I can't even check fuel pressure there's no port. The fuel pump relay connections were filthy cleaned them all no difference. Had it on a scope good spark even when it wants to die.

JOEJEEPNY you are the man! I pinched the return line to the tank and this thing ran like it never did. Thank you. Hope we meet one day lunch or dinner is on me.......
