lots of little things done this afternoon

Below is a better pic. Brackets are made out of 6061T6 Aluminum billet. They are pretty hefty since i had made them to of 1/2" thick material. Manly looking not like the cheap Chinese ones from catalogs......

That is Nice Ghost Rider.
Did you do that on a CNC mill?
I have been trying to find some of those with skull and cross bones on them.

I own a machine shop and I make custom parts for very expensive cars. All one off parts. I actually teach CAD-CAM software and started my shop because requests that I had from some people that I know here in Florida. All my parts are done on CNC Haas Equipment. If you will like a set of them, drop me a image with what ever you want on them and I can make them for you. Like I have said, heavy duty stuff because it looks cool. Working on a Picatiny rail system across the length of the dashboard for quick instal and removal for accessories mounts. Things like Phones, iPod, digital cameras, cup holders etc. All made out of Aluminum Billet, all made here in Florida. Drop me a PM and I ill get back to you. I will be up late this evening.

I'd like to see that rail system when it's done. Sounds like a good idea. I like the windshield brackets also. It's to bad the roll bars in my cj sit to close to the brackets to really see them. Shoot custom billet accessories should sell like free hot dogs.

Thanks to you all for the kind words. This is a kinda business/hobby for me. Like I mentioned before, I started as a tool maker and got involved in CNC machining many years ago. Now I teach CAD-CAM traveling each week all over the country and machine over the weekend. That is my passion. Former USN, absolutely loving my 94 YJ and my daughter's YJ. Wanting to have some cool stuff for my car but don't mind making some for anyone interested. Just remember, these parts are custom made in Florida and you will not find them on any catalogs. Guaranteed to get you noticed!
If interested, PM me. I might be able to do other designs and logos.

Here are few quick pics of the new cracked installed over the new speaker grilles. I only have a bolt on because I need to buy longer stainless bolts because the bracket thickness. Also notice the new covers. I made them out of 1/4" aluminum also. I installed Polk front speakers with tweeters. If you look really close, I have 3 micron stainless screen behind the grills because I didn't want any dust, mud or water to go trough and get the speakers soaked..... Keep in mind, I took my doors and top of my YJ

man, that is some cool stuff you make. we have those big cnc machines at work but i am not a machinist so i don't get to use them. the closest i got was when i worked on the floor and htey needed someone trained to run the zeiss cmm machine so i volunteered. those machines are so cool. i would love to be able to have access to a shop and do that kind of stuff for my jeep too.

figure out prices on your windshield plates and let us know

Having more fun doing that than a man should be allowed to have..... I will try to get some prices where I can make few dollars but to also have them at a affordable parts so you guys can have the same cool stuff. I am not going to compete with China but they are going to be special parts, not mass produced.
I will keep you posted!

Material purchased on my way to the airport. I will be back Saturday and start working on them Saturday afternoon. To all of you guys that ordered them from me, thanks for your business.
