I think that "other" photo has some sort of automatically voting...

Trotter either has more friends than your or there is something suspicious about the voting. You guys keep trying to catch up only for him to tally even more. Plus, look at the ratio of votes for the other photos. That trail photo is no better than the rest, heck, we've all seen better here on the forum. Fishy stuff I smell. LOL Good Luck though and I just voted again.

Something doesn't seem right, my daughter has taken better pictures with her Barbie-cam. I wish we had known about the contest sooner, the more deserving photo would have won for sure.

I can tell you that he's had his forum working on this vote for two weeks. Wish I had known about it before then. I got Pirate4x4 working on it a couple days ago and they did in two days what his forum did in two weeks. Oh well...

You know, this has become quite funny.
When it started, I simply emailed my friends and family and asked for a vote. Then I came to the Commander forum where I have gained and shared a variety of info and asked all of you to vote. Little did I realize this thing would blow into the proportions it has. So many of you and my family members have gotten into a regular pattern of voting that I’m afraid you all will have withdrawals when its over so we will need to refocus that on AEV to build us some parts.
Then this kid over at Pirates picks up the torch and goes to all measures to get people to vote for the September photo and squash our votes. Good idea and good effort I thought. But when it came to a quick reality that they could not break the lead under 500 the theories and vulgarities started to fly over at Pirates user forum. Some of them are quite funny.
RedBullJeep – “Maybe they found a way to fix it...deleting cookies maybe?â€
RUFF – “Not a chance they are still dumping more votes than we are in the time we have voted. Either PBB has become weak or someone there has worked out how to constantly change†their IP. I cant beleive that PBB is getting owned by a jeep forum. I thought this was the most powerfull offroad forum in the world. They may have had a 2 week headstart but they are not having any problems keeping around 700 votes ahead of us since we started voting.â€
Tjeepfreak – “Sorry mang I been gettin votes in, got quite a few in today like 4-6 er so, but their lead climbed from like 6 hundred some to well over 7 hundred some, I dunno what site they've got behind em, but damn they've been kickin ass at that.... maybe the guys pic has dial up and spends all day loggin on and off to revoteâ€

Come on guys, don't let Pirate's rep slip! You can vote once an hour apparently, and I think it just worked for different browsers for me. The problem is is that they've been on it for two weeks and we're just now getting on it. I'm sure this would have been a cake walk otherwise.. I wish I had known to get on this earlier. We definitely would have owned this one. I just don't see it happening. I think voting ends tomorrow.â€

They have called me names and cussed me left and right and they don’t even know me. Pretty shallow. But then I thought hey, being a f***ing yuppie realy isn’t all that bad. Having a roof over my head to call my own, a loving family, a successful business and of course a nice ride with heated leather seats is not all that bad. I started to lower myself to their level to post comments on their board but quickly realized that was stupid. I don’t have time to do battle of the words with guys half my age. I have a family and a business to run. And I ask you not to do the same either. Its not worth the energy to type plus I have learned with raising two kids that if you just ignore their crying, they will eventually stop because no one is giving them attention.
They were bribed with porn for their votes (which has now been removed from the forum…LOL) and at this point they have completely forgotten why (porn)they were voting for some picture on Jeep Jamboree USA (which in their mind is for a bunch of wimps anyway) and more incredibly, users are coming on not even knowing who this guy Alex is with the September photo. They think it’s this user Currupt4130! Poor Alex has been drug into something he doesn’t even know about because he isn’t even a user on their forum and by the looks of Alex’s father Terry’s website, Terry has a jeep but it appears Alex does not have one to even post there. I ‘m not putting Alex down. I get the feeling dad took him on a jamboree and he took some cool pics just like I took my 6yr old son on jamborees except my son’s photos on his fisher price camera are not near as nice as Alex’s. Alex does have a good eye and maybe he will turn his hobby into a full time career some day.
There has been no magic keeping the vote up. Your, my friends, and my family’s commitment to a cause that has gotten out of control has been great. You all know who and what your voting for with no false promises, just a little comradery amongst people with a common interest.
So thank you. Keep on voting through the end of the today. It will be easy to keep the Pirates at bay (yo ho ho). JJ USA said voting ends today so whatever happens after today … I really don’t care.

Well Phunkeydude, If you take the time to look, nobody has badmouthed you at all on this site. Yes people have preffered Alex's picture over yours, myself (a graphic designer) included. But you must admit that the fact that the momentum of votes for your pic have not slowed down at all in the past couple days is quite strange. Your friends, family, and one forum sure have a lot of voting power.
Good luck with the contest, but I think joining this site to say "nah nee nah nah boo boo" is the part of this whole thing that is overboard.

I didnt say anyone did here. Jeep people in general are nicer people at least from my experiences thus far.
And I did not post over here for a "nah nee nah nah boo boo". I just wanted to post to say hey, its out of control now and has grown into some wierd thing with people like Currupt4130 post porn of chicks he has banged if you voted. And then there are people I dont even know outside of the forum that have forwarded it on to others and posted elswhere on other forums of their own free will as if it some sort of crusade.
