shackle lift what?

I went to have my new shocks put on and the mechanic kept asking why i had a lift on my jeep (up until now i didnt think i had one)....i was checkin out some pics and it led me to believe that i have a shackle lift that i was not aware of...are those stock shackles or are they longer?

Those are lift shackles. Looks like around 1/2" of lift.

Those are not stock shackles. Stock shackles are 4" hole to hole, so measure yours and your amount of lift will be half of the difference.

yeah, that looks to be about a .5 inch lift... i can't understand the reasoning behind a mechanic asking WHY someone has a lift on their jeep
