look twd the rear on the frame rail on the drivers side i believe... - you'll see a protective skid plate (look for the fuel lines running in/out of it) - remove the plate and the filter is underneath... thats where it was on my old 91 Sahara... hope it helps!

Yuppers...piece of cake to change out, too.
Hmmm...wonder if the Walmart fuel filters have less media in them to save money like the Fram oil filters supposedly do?:???:
