I'm gonna let every get a good laugh...

You got off easy compared to what we did to one of my friends back in high school at a party I had at my parents house. We completely filled in his ears and even did the a little of the inside of his nose. There were a lot of obscene words on his back with arrows pointing to his rear. He was so...

    Popping out of reverse

If you have a body lift, the shift boot might still be too tight even if it's moved back (it has to move further because it's higher up on the shifter)...especially on cold mornings when it's less elastic. I heated up my shifter and bent it to a position that would allow it to move freely...

Little Known Facts about Jeepz Members

I don't have a jeep anymore and am considering taking the wife's brand new 2008 Ford Escape out wheeling just to see how much I can break in one day.

    Sold the Jeep

Hey. It's been a while since I've been on here...just been way too busy with the new baby and moving and work and everything else that's going on. Anyway, I sold the jeep to buy a more "family friendly" vehicle that my wife can actually drive without getting into an accident (2008 Ford Escape...

    death wobble

I had this problem on my 96 F-150. It ended up being unevenly worn tires caused by bad ball joints. After I had the ball joints replaced, the inner part of the tire that was more worn didn't sit flat and caused a bad wobble.

got a 2004 putting in new dana new engine?

I seen a guy with a 327 stroker in his YJ. It was origionally a 305 TPI out of a camaro he bored out to a 327 and put in a crank from a 400 small block. This thing had an unbelievable amount of power and torque. Good luck with it. Post some pics in about 4 years when you're done.

What does your Jeep do for you?

Oh ya, the other thing my jeep does for me is cost me a helluva lot of money....then I have to listen to my wife... "you broke it again?!"

What does your Jeep do for you?

I voted the third one but it's soon to be nothing since it's for sale....wife says we need something more "family oriented" and this is one of the few times I actually agree with her. Can't fit a car seat into the jeep. I plan on buying another one in a few years when she's back to work. Next...

Blowing fuse when hauling a trailer

You can upgrade your flasher which is what I had to do when I converted to LED tail lights. You should have an electrostatic flasher which the speed of the flasher depends on the amount of current being drawn through it. You can replace it with an electronic one which will have a constant flash...

    Any hardcore fishermen on here?

Both. Boats fishing is much better though. We go over to Vancouver Island sometimes to a warf built specifically for fishing that goes 1/2 mile out into the ocean....saves money on gas. I like ocean fishing the best because it's like a surprise every time, you never know what you're gonna get...

    Any hardcore fishermen on here?

You gotta come on over to the Pacific Coast....80 lb (if you're lucky) spring salmon out here. Nothing better than sittin back with some good friends, drinking a beer or 10 and if you catch something, it's a bonus.

    Hydrolocked and Recovered but...

I did the same thing, only about 200 kms out into the the mountains in the middle of no where. I got so much muddy water into my intake that is sucked my K&N filter right through the intake hose almost into the motor. Thats why I now have a snorkel on my jeep. I changed my oil right away and...

    Flooding

They have posted a flood warning for here. They say the snow pack in the mountains is 160% above normal and if it gets warm enough for long enough the Fraser River which runs all through BC is supposed to flood. Unfortunately I live right in front of the river (500 feet away) near the mouth...

    Boogity, Boogity!

The closest I've ever been to Talladega is that movie Talladega Nights in the movie theater. A couple of guys I work with drive down every year to the Daytona 500 for the race then come back the next day. Can't remember how long the drive is but I think I remember them saying something like 24...
