What year did jeep put the auto overdrive in the TJ?

Get a 9" off of a 79 lincoln. It has the disc brakes. Summit has the adjustable valve. Just gave away all of my 9" stuff. Is the motor in yet?

Are you getting oil sucked into the air filter?

Sounds like a plan. Make sure the chunk on the 9" is in the center and offset?

I'd go with the 4" Superlift. Feels good on and off road. You can run 33's.

Thanks Bounty. The only electrical part I could think of was the shift light. Could be funny on an automatic. Brian Still looking for a yj for my daughter. All I find is 5speeds. Too much for a 15 yr old blonde to think about.

I want to remove the 5speed and replace with auto(999). Will I have to change computers? I know that I might have to change the input shaft on the transfercase. Anything else I might be missing?

Only thing I can think of is you can't remove the bolts for normal repairs.

It could be a bad u-joint that ruined the seal. Also check the output shaft on the transfercase. It could bend from the excessive vibration. The seal replacement is an easy fix.

My 91 yj had the mechanical timer. electrical tape is a good fix. Auto zone has the reset proceedures on their computer if you don't like tape.

I agree with redrooster. I have seen a pin hole in the the intake leak gas into the engine and wash out the bearings. Change the cat and hope for the best.

Check howell engine development for the computer and harness. They have alot of conversion kits.

Looking to use as a daily driver. I'll save the one tons for my toy. Has anyone seen one with half doors? Can't get used to full doors.

Go with the long arm kit and 35's. You can upgrade to a dana 44 later. Are 33's those little doughnut tires you use when you get a flat?
