I removed the restrictor and cut the entire driver side out of the lower half of my air box.. and cut some water drain holes in the bottom. I don't think there's a way to get more air in there with the stock setup than that.

Laws are based upon logic, statutory codes and bylaws are not. That "law" is a statutory code. Of course there's no logic, its just black and white words that people think have to stay black and white. It is ridiculous

Step by step... go to autozone (or similar) and buy: -14 gauge red wire (20 feet is way more than enough) -14 gauge black wire (3 feet should easily do it) -fuse holder with fuse (whatever size the device suggests) -assorted connecters (ring terminals, spade connectors, etc.)...
