Why are you a member at Jeepz.com

here's something I got off of Hardcore Jeep a while back - I'm sure it's been on this site, but if it hasn't been around for a while - it's good to bring it back now and again. I'm fairly sure most around here can relate. 4x4 Creed by Tony Sain What many see as excessiveness, I see as...

Wondering which Jeep is the Majority @ Jeepz.com

CJ-5 since 2-13-88, but a Jeep is a Jeep ... usually... all for one and one for all

Why are you a member at Jeepz.com

It's a place to talk about Jeeps and other like minded topics. Althought I pontificate everynow and again, I don't get crapped on too much - sometimes they take a friendly jab at me (at least I think it's friendly) but that's the way it should be. People have to make fun of their own fanaticism.

    Need an engine... advice please!!!

what type of engine do you have, and do you have the space, time, and tools to rebuild if you do, I would do it yourself - not necessarily because of the price, but because you get and intimate working knowledge of your ride

Drop the TJ for a CJ??

I'm partial to the CJ (78 CJ5 - God bless America - at least it wasn't made when the Germans owned the company). CJ's are simple, ez to find parts for, don't have the stink'in computers or fancy crap that's expensive, but usually by now they are stripped and don't have the creature comforts of...

I'm Another Newbee, Just want to say HI

welcome to the cult, or is it a subculture - i don't think we've decided yet in any case, most around here are helpfull, some are harsh, but all are jeep brothers and sisters don't get hurt if someone gets crappy - it's just tough love all for one and one for all

    Winter in a Jeep

Damage to the TJ and the New Addition you're going to just have to suck it up - jeepers are tougher that crap i once drove more that 45 miles in February - colder than crap - man i thought my nipples were going to pop, and the wind was blowing hard all the way, both to and back - and i was...

Forget about the usual offroad hazards.......

Winter in a Jeep what the hell are you talking about, spiders don't get that big... it's a gag, that's it - it's a gag... he's pull'in your leg - ouch, let go - you're going to pull it out at the hip joint... oh my God, let go - it hurts

    Windsheld hinge Hell!!

couldn't help but notice the shot a the now german owned company, and I agree eventhough it has the jeep lable, something is missing - it's just wrong: hey the company that made cars and tanks for hitler now owns, runs, and gets the profit from the company that was given partial credit for...

a lot of people call us a cult

Cheap Jeep I don't want to bash college too much; hey I have two degrees. I didn't fit in too well because I didn't agree with all the brain washing. In college, there are young, eager to learn and impressioable absorbant brains, and this is when the greenies and bunny-humpers (their basicly...

a lot of people call us a cult

true jeeper march to their own drum, who gives a shaved, tatood rat's ass what anyone else thinks is cool most college students who would respond to a poll like that would be thoes tree hugg'in, bunny hump'in facist pig that thinks they have to controll the world for the benefit of their...

    Those damn Torx Bolts

torx bolts suck, suck, suck... if I was too subtle about it, let me repeat it - they suck hard... As I took each torx bolt off my jeep, I damned it to hell as I threw it across the yard. Cheap torx wrenches suck too - they snap off if you blow on them hard or use harsh language. Break down...

a lot of people call us a cult

so, who the hell called us a cult??? You know, it's just not the Jeep - it's everything that goes with it: the dirt, mud, sun, freedom, getting away from thoes who tell us we can't. With the Jeep, we can celebrate life just a little more...

    torn seat?

when that happened to me, I just bought a cheapy seat cover at wal mart and put a towel over the crack until i could get a local upolsterer to fix them all for about 150 bucks. 4wheelparts and quadratech both have several replacement seats for $114 for low backs, but that's a lot for seats...

    sad sad day

"to each his own"... I don't like that there is a proverb like that which attempts to justify a wrong action, and make it ok, simply because it is inosmeone's interest You have a definate point - way too many people trying to stop others because they believe someone is commiting a "wrong...

    where's the frame-up 65 CJ5?

Good luck - I know when I had to put things off for a while, it drove me up a wall. The por 15 I used on some rust spots worked well, but I was too cheap to use it everywhere, and being too cheap showed up when I put a bed liner down. Instead of breaking down for hurcuiner, I went with the duplo...
