Some of the automotive paint suppliers have equipment to determine the paint color and how it is mixed. They can usually hit it right on. Is that the factory color or a custom mix? I just painted mine to match the nerf bars I repainted. mike

When mine was done, I had the fuel filler and hoses pushed in as far as I could get them. Then shielded them as best I could with a flame proof cloth. Then spot welded the filler plate with a series of welds giving a little time between welds to keep heat down. mike

If it's like mine the plug connector has a release tab that needs depressed to remove it from the cluster. mike

RE: Turn signal fuse replacement The hose from the resevoir runs into the fire wall inside of the cowl. Remove the nozzles on cowl, check to see if blocked. If you remove the hose becareful not to let fall back into the cowl, they are a pain to get back out. Operate with the nozzle off to see...

Which Jeep? Year, model? Sounds more like a relay than a fuse. mike

I have heard of it happening with the bikini tops if the are not put on right, but not a regular top. However I did notice, on my YJ, the channel on the windshield did become lose over time. I replace the screws with the #10 size stainless steel to pull it down tight. The top is still noisey...

RE: A few Anniversary pics...... Just put one on mine back in October from RC. Springs are fine. Yep it was pretty stiff at first but after a 500+ miles she smoothed out some. I haven't done the SYE and drive shaft yet, but I don't have a lot of vibration. TC makes some good point on tires...

I took one of mine to a local upolstery shop and had the zipper replaced. They can usually stitch one in pretty quick. mike

Some one put smaller tires on that YJ. Stock is 28" on a 15X7 wheel. 30 x 9.50 will work fine on the stock suspension. That's what I am running on my YJ. Had no issues on the stock set up, now they look a little small with the 4" lift. :o Good luck and welcome to the site. mike
